According to a campaign official and law enforcement, Katie Hobbs,

a Democratic contender for governor of Arizona and the state's current secretary of state

had her campaign headquarters broken into this week.

Tuesday afternoon, Phoenix police responded to a burglary allegation and discovered that

"things were removed from the property sometime during the night," according to a statement from the department.

Detectives are still searching through all security footage as part of this ongoing investigation to find and identify the suspect

according to the statement. There are no known suspects in the break-in.

According to a source within the Hobbs campaign, CCTV footage captures the individual who allegedly broke into the campaign offices.

The insider continued that the Hobbs campaign was unable to obtain a complete list of what was taken.
