Awarded the Ballon d'Or After being forced to miss Saturday's LaLiga match against Sevilla due to "muscular fatigue

Karim Benzema is expected to make his Real Madrid comeback on Tuesday against RB Leipzig.

Benzema experienced discomfort on Friday during Madrid's final practise of the week.

He was the first French player to win the Ballon d'Or since Zinedine Zidane in 1998.

Despite being initially named to the matchday squad for Saturday, sources told ESPN he was questionable for the match, and he has since been removed.

Karim Benzema has been identified as having muscular fatigue in his left quadricep muscle

according to tests conducted on him by the Real Madrid Medical Services, the team announced in a statement.

Ancelotti remarked, "We aren't worried. "Karim hasn't had continuity, but he's healthy, he's driven, and he still matters to us," a spokesperson said.

Benzema's season has been hampered by injuries, and he missed a month of action between September and October because of a thigh issue.
