For this week's Halloween broadcast of Saturday Night Live, a rapper will serve as both the musical guest and the show's host.

Young fans can access the programme through Jack Harlow, 24,

who recently completed a world tour and released his second album.

Cecily Strong, a stalwart of Saturday Night Live, appeared on this week's episode

after missing the first several of the season due to her participation in the one-woman play

"The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe" at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

Strong is back with her SNL cast mates after the show, in which Lily Tomlin initially featured, was finished on October 23.

During his monologue, Jack Harlow cracked a few jokes about himself that caused some laughter from the audience.

He promoted the recent release of his second album and said that he had recently wrapped up production on his debut feature,

"White Men Can't Jump," a remake of the sports comedy from 1992.
