Henry Cavill is leaving "The Witcher," and Liam Hemsworth has been cast as the new Geralt of Rivia.

The news was revealed on Saturday, and it has caused a bit of a stir in TV circles

because HC has been playing the lead part for the past three seasons to great acclaim.

But now, he claims to be leaving and handing the baton to the next fighter for round #4, and the time is perfect.

Henry claims, "I have encountered both monsters and adventures throughout my voyage as Geralt of Rivia, but sadly,

I will be putting my medallion and my swords away for Season 4.

The wonderful Mr. Liam Hemsworth will assume the role of the White Wolf in my place."

He then wishes Liam well in his portrayal of a character he claims to have loved.

Henry, I've been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you delivered to this cherished character,

Liam says as he accepts the new role.
