On "Monday Night Football" in Cleveland, the Cleveland Browns defeated the Cincinnati Bengals,

who were without injured wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, 32-13

thanks to a strong defensive performance and two touchdown runs by Nick Chubb.

The Browns finally came to life on Halloween.

On the way to a commanding victory, Cleveland smothered Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow, reviving its dormant season before the bye week.

The Bengals had scored in 41 straight halves when "Monday Night Football" began.

However, a surprisingly resilient Browns defence ended that run by keeping Cincinnati scoreless in the opening period.

Additionally, all season long, the Bengals' defence had not given up a touchdown in the second half.

However, Cleveland put the game beyond doubt by scoring touchdowns on its first two drives following halftime.
