After the trade deadline passes without a deal, Brandin Cooks of the Texans is not likely to play against the Eagles.

According to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Texans wide receiver Brandin

Cooks is not anticipated to participate in tonight's Thursday Night Football game against the Eagles.

Cooks was labelled as doubtful on the injury report this week with the official diagnosis of "wrist/not injury related,

" which sparked rumours that he wouldn't be available

as the team tries to work things out with their pass catcher in the wake of not being moved before the deadline on Tuesday.

Since many believed the 1-5-1 Texans may deal Cooks by the Nov. 1 trade deadline,

the 29-year-old receiver has been the focus of trade discussions for weeks.

Cooks would have tied the NFL record for most trades in a career if he had been dealt with a fourth time.
