The late Alice Estes Davis created costumes for Disney theme parks, movies, and television shows

in addition to designing women's lingerie and undergarments. She was 93.

A representative for Walt Disney Animation confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter

that Davis passed away on Thursday at her Los Feliz home in Los Angeles.

She was married to animator Marc Davis, one of Disney's renowned

"Nine Old Men," from June 1956 until his passing in January 2000.

Marc Davis was named a Disney Legend in 2004.

(He was named a Disney Legend in 1989, and the couple's names are on windows next to one another on Disneyland's Main Street.)

Alice May Estes, the fourth of the family's five kids, was born on March 26, 1929, in Escalon, California.

Her mother, Naomi, was an art teacher and craftswoman, and her father, Bishop, was the head of a public school.
