Kedarkantha Trek Route, Itinerary, and Distance Covered

Kedarkantha Trek is a beautiful trek that takes you through the tribal villages of the Thar Desert and makes you feel like being in a different world. It provides an opportunity to experience the ancient culture and traditions of the people of Himachal Pradesh. The best thing about this trek is that it doesn’t require any special skills or equipment to undertake. The first day starts early morning itself since we have our breakfast at 7:30 AM followed by packing our bags before setting off on our adventure towards Kedarkantha Lake where we will spend the night itself before continuing the next day’s journey towards Bana Lake which again requires overnight stay here due to its distance from the previous place.

Where we had spent the rest of two nights earlier on the same day itself due t the way is longer than the previous route thus requiring more time spent traveling back & forth between these two places making us reach the destination faster but also causing exhaustion, especially when traveling during harsh winter months like December/January when the temperature drops significantly making everything unbearable so wear warm clothes while going inside tents etc., even though the outside temperature was high but inside tents were cold due t lack electricity supply; however, if electricity supply was available then things would have been even better since keeping warm would not be a problem anymore!
